Australian performing artist - Ben-jamin is among the most elite and diverse performers of his generation.

A complete triple threat - with a focus on characterization, physicality and comedy -specializing in Commedia Dell’Arte. Ben-jamin regularly performs around Australia and the world with his theatre company - Fools in Progress Theatre Company.

In 2006 he studied Commedia Dell Arte in Italy for 6 months, and again in 2015, both times under Antonio Fava, this is how he learnt to speak Italian.

Ben-jamin has been training since the age of 4. He attended McDonald College on acting scholarship before transferring to Brent St TDHS to join their inaugural drama stream. He Completed his Cert IV in Performing Arts in 2008, at Brent St Studios, under the direction of Jacqui Howard with a focus on performance and acting techniques for both stage- and screen. Early in 2009, Ben-jamin auditioned for Carnival Cruise Lines, and was thankfully placed on the most highly requested and technically demanding ship in the fleet. This involved 8, full production shows per week-and one “Welcome Aboard Show”, along with 3 other males and 12 female dancers in the cast.

After two back to back contracts at sea, Ben-jamin returned to Sydney. He now works as an actor, creative consultant, producer, adjudicator, teacher and continues learning as a student.

He continues to pursue his passion for comedy, as co-owner & principal male actor of the Fools in Progress Theatre Company. Keep an eye out for their annual season of "The Servant Of Two Masters" by Carlo Galdoni, starring Ben-Jamin in his critically acclaimed, internationally renowned role-"Truffildino"- The Servant of Two Masters.
